Kennedy School has welcomed the month of October with a number of schoolwide events and programs. One of the events was the NED Mindset Show. This show taught the students about the power of "YET" and encouraged the students to never give up!

The month of April focused on Autism acceptance at Kennedy School. We learned about Autism Spectrum Disorder and concluded with our annual "Bubbles for Autism" event. The students at JFK continue to realize that our diverse school community is a great place to learn and grow!
The Kennedy School students and Character Education Program have begun the transition into the last marking period of the school year by learning about our "hardworking" staff! Our school paid tribute to our Instructional Aides and thanked them for being so hardworking!
The South Plainfield School District hosted their second annual Band Festival Day on March 29 at the South Plainfield Middle School. 316 band students participated. Every band student from the High School, the Middle School, the Grant School and all four elementary schools participated. Each school played one piece by themselves and then they played it again with the older schools joining in.

On Friday, December 2nd, Kennedy School received a very special donation from PetSmart for every student. The adorable stuffed animals were the perfect way to add to our Pajama Day! In support of CHOP, the students and staff raised $1,100! Thank you Eric Lester at PetSmart!
