We are in the 7th inning stretch! The Kennedy Home Run Derby will take place in just 6 days. One student in each grade level & one staff member that hits the ball the farthest wins a prize. We want to express our sincere gratitude to the South Plainfield Police Resource Officers for visiting Kennedy School and sharing valuable safety information with our students. Their presentation on bike and Halloween safety was informative and engaging, and we appreciate their dedication to keeping our community safe. During Fire Safety Week the SPVFD spoke with JFK's Kindergarten classes about fire safety. They were great fielding questions & letting the students climb into the fire truck! Big thanks go out to Captain Edward Laferrera, FF John Calvey & FF Bill Conti.

Please be advised, the Traditions Complex will be performing road work within the complex Monday, October 7th, Tuesday, October 8th, and Wednesday, October 9th. All transportation students will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance of the complex on New Durham Road. Please arrive to the bus stop at your regularly scheduled bus pickup time. All students will be dropped off in the afternoon at the same bus stop, the entrance of the complex on New Durham Road. The South Plainfield School busses will not be allowed to drive into the complex until Thursday, October 10th. Thank you for your understanding.

The expected closure for road work at the Traditions Complex has been cancelled. Regular bus pick-up and drop-off will proceed as usual at the New Durham Road entrance until October 10th. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello Kennedy Students, Remember to wear your "Buddy Walk" shirts this Friday, October 4th to walk together in bringing awareness to Down Syndrome.
