Mrs. Gil’s 2nd-grade art class at Kennedy School explored the world of abstract art through the lens of renowned artist Frank Stella! Students learned about Stella’s vibrant and dynamic style and used their creativity to design their own abstract masterpieces featuring circles. At Kennedy School, we encourage our young artists to be proud of their incredible imagination and skills by bringing their ideas to life. Great job, 2nd graders—we are so proud of your amazing work! 🎨✨

The South Plainfield Senior Center volunteers visited Kennedy School to share their love of reading with our kindergarten students. The event was a heartwarming experience as our youngest learners eagerly listened to engaging stories our senior community members read. This special collaboration highlighted the power of intergenerational connections and the importance of fostering a love for reading at an early age. Partnering with the South Plainfield Seniors was a wonderful way to unite the community, creating lasting memories for our students and guests. We look forward to more opportunities to connect and grow as a community. Special thank you to Mrs. Olano for organizing this great event.

Please watch the Kennedy Home Run Derby postgame press conferences including comments from Derby Head Fundraising Coach Jillian Mahon and our teacher Derby Winner live to tape following the Kennedy Derby Assembly.
