The South Plainfield School District will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24, 2026, due to snow accumulation totals. All clubs and activities are canceled. Information regarding athletics including practices and games will be communicated through the team coaches.

Students in Mrs. Cawley's 8th grade math class put their problem-solving skills to the test with a systems-of-equations scavenger hunt. Each clue described a real-world situation, and students had to define their own variables, write equations to model the scenario, and solve the system using the elimination method. Every correct solution led them to the next challenge, keeping them moving, thinking, and collaborating.

To help beat the winter blues, students at the middle school participated in a "Stranger Things" morning music contest. Songs from the series were played each morning and students guessed the name, artist and year released. Who doesn't love starting off their day with some 80s music? These ladies were our top winners!
