Hello Roosevelt Families,
With all of the plans being made to enjoy the summer, it is our hope that reading for enjoyment will not be left out. Reading during the summer months can impact students’ motivation to read, as well as improve their fluency rate and vocabulary development. Also, involvement in a summer reading project may help students to maintain the reading skills learned during the school year. For grades K-6, the district is working in collaboration with the South Plainfield Public Library Summer Reading Program. Students entering grades K-6 are encouraged to join this program.
