Riley Parents & Guardians,
Friday, June 6th, is the Annual Riley Carnival Day hosted by the PTSO. This is a day that the students are excited about and look forward to enjoying all year. However, there are a few important details, rules, and information that need to be shared with you to ensure this day is a success for all of our students.
The Carnival Day is for Riley students only. Only Riley students can attend the Carnival Day. Siblings are not allowed to attend, regardless of their age.
PTSO Parent Volunteers: Please report to the field to sign in at the PTSO Station at your scheduled time.
Kindergarten Class Chaperones: Please report to the Main Office to sign in for the day.
All Parent Volunteers and Chaperones must wear the provided sticker at all times, or you will not be allowed inside the Carnival.
Socks are required for all students to participate in the Carnival. We advise students to bring a second pair of socks to keep in their backpacks.
Sunscreen: The District/School does not stock sunscreen, nor is anyone allowed to apply sunscreen on any students. Parents and guardians, please apply sunscreen on your child/children before arriving at school. Students should come to school wearing sunscreen. If your child can apply sunscreen on their own, they may do so.
Classroom Chaperones are to remain with the students at all times to help assist with lunch, snacks, escorting the students in the building to use the restroom and help with shoes, etc.
PTSO Parent Volunteers must stay at the station assigned. If you need a break, inform a PTSO member or floater volunteer.
Lunch: School lunch will be provided as normal. However, the students may bring their own lunch as well.

Carnival Day Lunch Schedule
11:00am - 11:20am - Kindergarten
11:20am - 11:40am - Grade 1
11:40am - 12:00pm - Grade 2
12:00pm - 12:20 pm - Grade 3
12:20pm - 12:40 pm - Grade 4
Students may stay in longer than the appointed time to eat and cool off as necessary.
