Kennedy Elementary School continues to kick off the month of October with our character education program, spirit days and school events. This week we had an interactive book reading assembly by guest author, Ms. Shanna Truffini, of "You Are A Gardener".
"You Are A Gardener" is a book about being kind. It tells how "we hold the power to plant seeds for positive change in ourselves, our community and our world." Ms. Truffini provided a number of "helpful gardening tools (coping strategies) students can use to maintain a positive and kind culture". The students really enjoyed it.
