South Plainfield Preschool Programs

Due to popular demand...the Tiny Tigers Pizza Palace will return to the Riley Preschool Annex for a one day only pop-up restaurant event! Students will have the opportunity to experience a real-life restaurant setting and atmosphere that provides a unique learning experience that complements our “restaurant” theme in the Tools of the Mind curriculum.

We will be decorating the multipurpose room to give an “old-school pizza joint” vibe filled with classic red and white checkered tablecloths, red brick backdrop, waiters and a hostess dressed to impress to round out the experience. 

Students will be provided with a pizza dough experience, live demonstration, and of course fresh slices for the students to taste after they are done “making” the pizza. There will be flour used during the student egg-free dough interaction. Please note some flour may get on their clothes. Pizza that students will be consuming will NOT be the dough they will be interacting with.

Date: Thursday, December 19th 2024

Time: 9:45 AM- 12:10 PM. 

25 minute sessions in the Riley Annex Multipurpose Room.

Volunteers: If you wish to assist during the event, we would love your help! We are looking for help for setup, during the event, and cleaning up. All students must remain with their teacher/paraprofessional and class at all times. In an effort to keep the focus on the students, and safety in our building, there will be no strollers, younger siblings, or infants permitted to attend this event.
