Week of Respect

New Jersey's "Week of Respect" is an annual school event each October, mandated by the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act to raise awareness and teach age-appropriate instruction on preventing harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB). The week, which begins on the first Monday in October, focuses on fostering a positive school climate through activities that promote kindness, inclusion, and character education for both students and staff.
