The Golden Dustpan Award is an initiative to help students take pride and focus on the importance of respecting their learning spaces in and outside the classroom, including the cafeteria. This initiative also helps respect the diligent work of our school custodians, promote good behavior in the cafeteria, create a positive learning environment and contribute to the overall well-being and beautification of the school community.
Franklin School presents the Golden Dustpan Award to two classrooms that demonstrated the highest levels of cleanliness, responsibility and respect in keeping Franklin beautiful.
The two classrooms awarded will have one week to hang the Golden Dustpan outside the classroom door and receive a certificate of recognition.
