Good afternoon, Students, Parents/Guardians,
This is an updated email with the correct attachment.
The Middle School Student Council will be holding spring Chocolate Candy Sale starting today Tuesday, February 14th and it will run to Friday, March 3rd. Each case of World’s Finest Chocolate contains 60 candy bars. Candy bars cannot be sold in school by the students.
This fundraiser is to help us raise money to support student activities and events. Participation in the Chocolate Candy fundraiser is voluntary.
Option 1:
· Parents can scan the code on the attached document and fill out the Chocolate Permission Slip to sign up. SPMS World's Finest Chocolate Flyer.pdf
Option 2:
· Parent can print out the attached permission slip and return it to the main office at the Middle School.
o Option 1 or 2 must be completed before a student can check out a box of candy.

Students who participate in the World’s Finest Chocolate Candy Sale will earn $20 per box of chocolate that can be used towards activities and event at the Middle School (this can offset the cost of the 8th grade class trip). Any money that is not used by the student will remain in the Middle School Student Activity account as long as the student remains at the Middle School. Therefore, 7th grade students can earn money this year and during their 8th grade school year.
Prizes will be awarded according to how many boxes are sold by each student, see attached flyer.

As an added bonus any student that picks up a box of candy by this Friday, will be entered into a raffle to win a Sharper Image Wireless Mega Boom Box. Only one student will win.
As for any student that returns their candy money to the school by Tuesday, February 21st, will be entered into a raffle for $60 cash. Again, only one student will win.
Checks must be made payable to SPMS Student Activity Account. Please make sure that any information turned into the school is clearly marked with your child’s name and grade. All chocolate must be paid for before additional chocolate may be checked out and you must sell the entire box(es) and turn the money in no later than Friday, March 3rd.
Thank you for your support of the South Plainfield Middle School Students.
